Upgrade my Membership

As you are progressing through your career, you are able to upgrade your membership to reflect your experience as you continue to develop and progress.

We have a membership grade for all stages in your career; see the table below for all grades of membership

Applications to upgrade your membership can be made through your online profile and by clicking on apply now.

  • 9 May 2017 (Membership Committee meets on 6 June 2017)
  • 27 June 2017 (Membership Committee meets on 25 July 2017)
  • 12 September 2017 (Membership Committee meets on 3 October 2017)
  • 5 December 2017 (Membership Committee TBC)

 A non-refundable upgrade fee* is collected upon receipt of your application.  See Fees page for details.  You will be notified as soon as possible after the Membership Grading Committee meeting of the outcome of your application, normally within 2 weeks. Successful candidates will be emailed with advice about the subscription fee to be debited from the credit/debit card given with the application. A Diploma confirming your election is sent once payment has been collected.

Unsuccessful candidates will receive feedback and encouragement to re-apply where appropriate. Candidates who are dissatisfied with the decision are entitled to appeal.

*This fee is waived if you are employed by a company which is a member of our Corporate Partner Scheme.
