We are delighted that Mark Burns, President of Gulfstream Aerospace Corp. will give the 53rd Sir Henry Royce Lecture to share Gulfstream core values, market overview and to also provide a technical insight of the product line and technology innovation for one of the World’s finest business jet aircraft companies.

The lecture will start at 6:00pm (doors open from 5:00pm) in the Rolls-Royce Learning and Career Development Centre (LDC), Wilmore Road, Derby. Please come early enough so that we can have a prompt lecture start to honour the speaker and the other attendees.

Mark Burns, President, Gulstream Aerospace Corp

Mark Burns was named president of Gulfstream Aerospace Corp. in July 2015 after spending more than seven years as the leader of the company’s Product Support organization. He also serves as a vice president of Gulfstream parent company General Dynamics, a role he’s held since February 2014.

Burns has spent more than 32 years with Gulfstream, joining the organization in 1983 as a computer-aided design operator. Before being named Product Support president in June 2008, he was the vice president of Customer Support for six years, vice president of the Savannah service center for four years and vice president of Completions Engineering for two years. A native of Savannah, Burns earned a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Georgia Southern University.
